Spectrum Research and Development Initiative
We are leading the call for environmental accountability, public awareness, and sustainable solutions.
Clean air. Fertile land. Safe water and Healthy communities.
At Spectrum Research and Development Initiative (SRDI), we are committed to unveiling the real impact of pollution in Nigeria’s Niger Delta region. From oil spills to gas flaring, we generate evidence-based research, amplify community voices, and inspire advocacy that drives environmental justice. Our work focuses on how air, land, and water pollution affect health, agriculture, climate, development, and livelihoods. We are the bridge between local communities, researchers, policymakers, and advocates united in restoring the Niger Delta.
SRDI was born from a pressing question: ‘What is this pollution doing to us?’ We are researchers, storytellers, and advocates working alongside Niger Delta communities to uncover the truth about oil spills, gas flaring, and contamination. We do not just study the Delta; we are part of it. Our mission is to turn lived experiences into undeniable evidence and to transform that evidence into lasting justice.
